Brian Covert, Esq.

Attorney Brian CovertBrian Covert is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois with over 10 years of experience. He is a graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a Concentration in Litigation. While attending school, he was highly decorated in National Mock Trial Association competitions, winning numerous Outstanding Attorney awards.

Brian has substantial legal experience, beginning with his time at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting cases in the areas of DUI, Domestic Violence, and General Misdemeanors. He then began work as a private attorney handling Foreclosure Defense matters during the recession, and soon after expanded into Family Law matters.

In over a decade of work, Brian has personally handled hundreds of cases, with an established track record of obtaining successful outcomes for his clients.

Brian practices in the areas of Family Law, Real Estate, and Foreclosure Defense, in DuPage, Kane, Will, Kendall, and Cook Counties.

Samuel Marrero Jr., Esq.

Attorney Samuel Marrero Jr.Samuel Marrero Jr. is an Illinois licensed attorney with over 10 years of experience. Attorney Marrero has been admitted to the United States Central and Northern District of Illinois. He was born and raised in Chicago and is fluent in Spanish. Attorney Marrero graduated from DePaul University Bachelor of Arts Honors Program with a major in Political Science and minor in Sociology. Samuel earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Northern Illinois University-College of Law in 2009.

Attorney Marrero practices in the areas of criminal law, bankruptcy, traffic, family, and civil matters. Samuel Marrero Jr. has been an associate of high volume firms that handled thousands of cases frequently. Samuel has worked for the Will County Public Defender Office helping people that were financially disadvantaged. He has also helped domestic abuse survivors at Prairie State Legal Services as a 711 licensed attorney. Attorney Marrero has handled thousands of cases where people are going through hardships whether it be bankruptcy, criminal, traffic or foreclosure.

Sadia Covert, Esq.

Attorney Sadia Covert

Sadia G. Covert is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois and is one of the founding partners at Covert Marrero Covert, LLP.  She earned her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University in 2008 with a concentration in litigation. She currently counsels clients in Corporate law, various business transactions and business consulting, and acquisition and disposal of commercial and residential property. She also represents her clients in civil litigation matters that arise from corporate disputes.

Sadia has diverse legal experience, beginning with her time at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting cases in the areas of DUI, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanors, Juvenile, and Civil Collections and Forfeitures. She then began work in the field of consumer bankruptcy and foreclosure defense, financially advising clients and dealing with numerous cases involving mortgage foreclosures, and later worked in the area of Worker’s Compensation. Currently, Sadia practices Corporate Law and Business Transactions, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Business Consulting, and Civil Litigation.

In addition to her legal experience, Sadia Covert currently serves as a County Commissioner for DuPage County Board (District 5, elected 2018). She also serves on Dupage’s Economic Development Committee, Illinois State Association of Counties, National Association of Counties, Development committee, and Greater Oakbrook Chamber of Commerce. Sadia has also passed legislation in Illinois amending the criminal penal code on hate crimes.
